The Sixth annual Bethany Rose Cyr Memorial scholarship has been awarded to Tollgate High School student Mya Reynolds.

As an individual who loves learning and has a great desire to help others, I intend to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Throughout my time at Toll Gate, I have enrolled in numerous challenging STEM courses, ranging from AP Physics 1 and 2, to AP Biology. I find the constant overlap in material engaging and am excited to continue learning with in these subjects for the rest of my educational career.

Adopted from China at the age of nine months by two loving parents, I am eager to give back and make a difference with the life that I have been fortunate to live. In my future career, I aspire to utilize both my knowledge and social skills to improve the wellbeing of others around me. At Brown University I plan to earn a degree in Biology, and go on to graduate school, whether that be for physician or physician assistant studies.
